The 300 PPI reference is not a verified journal rule or a guarantee of acceptance. Metadata DPI does not add image detail. SVG scripts, external references, embedded images, styles and unsupported elements are rejected. Only PNG pHYs and JPEG JFIF horizontal DPI metadata are read; EXIF DPI and actual transparency or image quality are not assessed. Files are not saved; refreshing clears results.
