# ResearchFig ResearchFig is a development-stage scientific figure workspace. It provides structured drawing briefs, conceptual image generation, separate text and arrow annotations, private projects and saved versions, plus numerical chart tools. Production image generation and checkout remain restricted. Subscription cards are a plan preview. Do not describe ResearchFig as a validated scientific model, publication approval service, or fully editable bitmap-to-vector converter. # Capabilities - Scientific figures, mechanism illustrations and graphical abstract briefs. - Topic-specific forms build prompts from user-supplied source notes and relationships. - Image model selection, supported aspect ratios and resolution tiers, illustration styles and palette instructions. - PNG/JPG reference input; selected services use temporary publicly accessible upload URLs, disclosed before upload. - Guided region editing with a mask-capable model; edits can affect pixels outside the marked area. - Independently editable added text and arrows. The generated illustration remains a bitmap. - PNG/JPG raster export. SVG/PPTX embed the bitmap and preserve separate annotation objects. - Private project saving and revisions when the configured account/storage services are available. - Local bar charts, histograms, box plots and heatmaps from supplied numerical values. Box plots use R-7 quartiles and Tukey whiskers. Limits: No scientific accuracy guarantee, experimental data generation, microscopy evidence, journal endorsement, publication license certificate, paid subscription activation or fabricated image upscaling. # Tools ## Scientific figure topics - [Cell membrane diagram maker](/tools/cell-membrane-diagram-maker): Plan a conceptual membrane cross-section from your supplied components, orientation, and spatial relationships. - [Mitochondria diagram maker](/tools/mitochondria-diagram): Build a source-led mitochondrion cutaway with only the structures and emphasis you specify. - [Cell nucleus diagram maker](/tools/nucleus-diagram-maker): Arrange supplied nuclear structures in a clean conceptual view without filling gaps with assumed detail. - [Animal cell diagram maker](/tools/animal-cell-diagram): Arrange a source-defined set of animal-cell structures with custom labels and spatial notes. - [Plant cell diagram maker](/tools/plant-cell-diagram): Build a plant-cell concept using your supplied boundaries, structures, and compartment relationships. - [Endoplasmic reticulum diagram maker](/tools/endoplasmic-reticulum-diagram-maker): Compose a conceptual ER view using your specified regions, attached components, and visual boundaries. - [Neuron diagram maker](/tools/neuron-diagram): Map a neuron’s supplied parts, view, and labeled connections into an editable conceptual brief. - [Synapse diagram maker](/tools/synapse-diagram): Arrange the supplied sides, components, and documented synaptic relationships in a careful concept view. - [Neural circuit diagram maker](/tools/neural-circuit-diagram-maker): Draw a supplied neural circuit topology while preserving your exact node names and connection directions. - [Joint anatomy diagram maker](/tools/joint-anatomy-diagram-maker): Organize joint structures and spatial relationships from a supplied anatomical source or manuscript brief. - [Signaling pathway diagram maker](/tools/signaling-pathway-diagram-maker): Visualize a named pathway using relationships transcribed from your source, with missing steps left blank. - [Gene expression diagram maker](/tools/gene-expression-diagram-maker): Lay out source-specified gene-expression stages and labels without assuming an unprovided molecular mechanism. - [DNA replication diagram maker](/tools/dna-replication-diagram): Create a replication-stage schematic from your supplied strand labels, fork geometry, and documented directions. - [Protein synthesis diagram maker](/tools/protein-synthesis-diagram): Lay out supplied translation components and stages without auto-completing an absent sequence or mechanism. - [Cell cycle diagram maker](/tools/cell-cycle-diagram): Represent researcher-supplied cell-cycle stages, ordering, and branch points with uncertainties preserved. - [Protein domain structure maker](/tools/protein-domain-structure-maker): Show the domain organization you provide, with sequence boundaries and unknown regions clearly distinguished. - [Molecular interaction diagram maker](/tools/molecular-interaction-diagram-maker): Visualize supplied molecular entities and explicitly documented interactions, leaving unknown links unconnected. - [Crystal lattice diagram maker](/tools/crystal-lattice-diagram-maker): Draft a lattice schematic from supplied unit-cell geometry, site labels, and symmetry information. - [Materials microstructure illustration maker](/tools/materials-microstructure-illustration-maker): Create a conceptual material cross-section from your supplied phases, boundaries, and spatial description. - [Lab device schematic maker](/tools/lab-device-schematic-maker): Turn supplied device parts and connection notes into a clean, non-measured apparatus schematic. - [Microfluidic chip diagram maker](/tools/microfluidic-chip-diagram-maker): Map supplied chip geometry, ports, channels, and flow relationships into a clean device concept. - [Experimental workflow diagram maker](/tools/experimental-workflow-maker): Turn your actual protocol sequence into a clear workflow, preserving exact order and unknown parameters. - [Visual abstract maker](/tools/visual-abstract-maker): Arrange your research question, supplied approach, and supported takeaway into a landscape visual abstract brief. - [Custom mechanism figure maker](/tools/custom-mechanism-figure-maker): Build a mechanism-style figure from your named entities and relationships, without adding unsourced steps. ## Shared figure workflows - [Scientific figure workspace](/create) - [Graphical abstract maker](/tools/graphical-abstract-maker) - [Tool directory](/tools) ## Local numerical charts - [Bar graph maker](/tools/bar-graph-maker) - [Histogram maker](/tools/histogram-maker) - [Box plot maker](/tools/box-plot-maker) - [Heatmap generator](/tools/heatmap-generator) - [Figure resolution checker](/analyze) # Pricing and access Current stage: production checkout and image generation are restricted. Lite, Pro and Plus cards are plan previews, not active subscriptions. There is no displayed Free subscription tier. The pricing page separately retrieves any purchasable one-time credit packs from the configured payment service. Do not infer available packs, completed payment, an account balance or granted credits from marketing cards. A checkout return alone does not add credits. Customer generation credits follow a versioned schedule by model, output resolution, reference and area-edit operation. The exact quote is shown before submission; a new request with an outdated quote is rejected before reservation. Existing requests retain their original accepted quote. See [/pricing#credit-rules](/pricing#credit-rules) for the deduction table and source-size rules. An AI edit preview is a separate run. Accepting, discarding or undoing it does not refund that run. User-created text and arrows, saving and exporting use no generation credits. Confirmed failed runs release reserved credits; unknown outcomes stay pending. Checking an existing request does not submit another generation. Internal service costs are not customer credit prices. See [/pricing](/pricing) for the visible account configuration. No model latency, generation cost or merchant revenue has been established by the public UI. # Image model choices - GPT Image 2 - GPT Image 2.5 Flare - GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst - GPT Image 2.6 - Nano Banana 2.1 - Seedream 5.0 Pro - FLUX.2 Pro Choices depend on configured service access.
